This piece is created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Te Kāreti Kōhine o Wairau - Marlborough Girls’ College in Blenheim. The harakeke has been boiled and dyed to preserve it. Tuatinitini Kuhurangi refers to the many and varying strands of blue.
