Te Mārama ki te Pō

Te Mārama ki te Pō  has been created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Koutu on the shores of Lake Rotorua. Woven in deep purple-black tones, this piece evokes the stillness of night, where strands of natural harakeke catch the light like moonbeams shining through the darkness. The flowing fibres create a sense of movement and lightness, a quiet reminder that even in the deepest night, light finds its way through.
