He Aho Manawaroa

This piece is created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Koutu on the shores of Lake Rotorua. It is created from fresh, but old whenu. The particularly rustic look is exemplified in its name; He Aho Manawaroa, which speaks of the strong enduring threads shaped by time and nature. It also has a natural wave through it, which reflects the movement of the water that sits before it.
