This kete whakairo has been created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Te Kāreti Kōhine o Wairau/Marlborough Girls’ College in Blenheim. The flax has been boiled and dyed to preserve it and has been created in the style of takitahi with a striped alternating diagonal effect. The colour used was forest green. Ngā Ara is simply in reference to the many paths.
