Te Hā o Waitangi

Te Hā o Waitangi was created on Waitangi Day, carrying the living breath and intention of that moment. The whenu was harvested from Koutu, on the shores of Lake Rotorua.

Through interwoven form, texture, and movement, the piece reflects ideas of breath, dialogue, and continuity — the quiet but enduring presence of connection across time. 

This work invites stillness and reflection, holding space for the past while remaining open to the present and future — a reminder that the breath of Waitangi continues to live, move, and be shaped through care and intention.
