This framed tauira is created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Omaka in Blenheim. The harakeke has been boiled to preserve it and was saved from the off-cuts of a kete. Kotahitanga speaks of unity – two becoming one.
This piece is currently on display at The Karaka Kitchen.
