This framed tauira is created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Omaka in Blenheim. The harakeke has been boiled to preserve it and was saved from the off-cuts of a kete. Kōkau represents the idea of imperfection, but over time its beauty can be admired. Kōkau has been presented in a recycled frame.
