This framed tauira is created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Omaka in Blenheim. The harakeke has been boiled to preserve it and was saved from the off-cuts of a kete. Ka Mau te Wehi means 'fantastic' – this piece symbolises a year's worth of work which has culminated in the beginning of the website 'Hera Creative'. Ka mau te wehi!!
