These framed tauira are a set. The have been created using harakeke (flax) harvested from Omaka in Blenheim. The harakeke has been boiled to preserve it and was saved from the off-cuts of a kete. Tauaro represents the idea of 'facing towards one another' - the pattern has simply been reversed to highlight their own individuality.
These pieces are displayed in elegant Citta frames.
